Offline / Online
You are online when you are connected to an Internet Server and therefore have access to the Internet including the www.
You are offline when you are not connected to an Internet Server, however, you may still browse Internet sites which have been cached on your machine. Some Browsers, such as Internet Explorer 5, cache sites automatically as you view them allowing you to look at the site offline at a later date. |
